I have met many friends in my life. Some stayed for a short time, and some are no longer in touch. But one friend has always stayed by my side, in good and bad times. Her name is Rina. I first met her during our orientation program. I liked her friendly nature from the beginning. After orientation, I was surprised to see that we were not only in the same hostel but also in the same room. That’s how our strong friendship started. We spent a lot of time together, and slowly, she became my best friend. Sometimes, we argue or have different opinions, but we always solve our problems with understanding. One thing I love about Rina is that she is open-minded and ready to accept new ideas. She knows me very well and can feel when I am happy or sad. She always tries to make me feel better when I’m down. That’s why I care for her more than other friends. Although we are different in many ways, we complete each other. Rina likes fun and enjoys being active, while I enjoy a quiet life. But this difference never harms our friendship. We always enjoy spending time together.

এ জীবনে আমার অনেক বন্ধু আছে, অনেকে এসেছে আবার চলেও গিয়েছে, কিন্তু একজন বন্ধু যে সকল প্রতিকূলতার মাঝেও আমার প্রতি বিশ্বস্ত। তার নাম রিনা। আমি পরিচিতির দিন তার সাথে পরিচিত হয়েছি এবং তার ব্যক্তিত্ব তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে আমাকে আকর্ষণ করে। সবচেয়ে অবাক বিষয় হলো, পরিচিতি পর্বের পর আমাকে তার সাথে শুধু একই হোস্টেলে নয় একই রুম বরাদ্দ করা হয়। এরপর শুরু হয় আমাদের সুন্দর বন্ধুত্ব। আমরা যতই একে অপরের সাথে সময় পার করি ততটাই আমাদের বন্ধু বেড়ে উঠে। সে ধীরে ধীরে আমার সবচেয়ে ভালো বন্ধুর জায়গা দখল করে। আমরা মাঝে মাঝে তর্ক করি এবং কিছু বিষয়ে দ্বিমত পোষণ করি কিন্তু আমরা সবসময় একটি সমাধান খুঁজে পাই। রিনার যে বিষয়টি আমি পছন্দ করি তা হলো সে খুবই নম্র এবং সবসময় নতুনত্বের প্রতি উদার। রিনা আমাকে বোঝে এবং সে বলতে পারে আমি কখন আনন্দিত বা দুঃখিত। অন্য কোন বন্ধু নয়, কেবল সেই আমার মেজাজ বুঝতে পারে এবং সবসময় আমাকে অনুপ্রাণিত করতে সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করে। এজন্যই, অন্য সব বন্ধুর চাইতে আমি তাকে সবচেয়ে বেশি পছন্দ করি। যদিও আমাদের চারিত্রিক বৈশিষ্ট্যে কিছু পার্থক্য রয়েছে, কিন্তু আমরা পুরোপুরিভাবে একে অন্যের পরিপূরক। সে মজা করতে পছন্দ করে এবং তার সাথে আগত সকল রোমাঞ্চ সে উপভোগ করে যেখানে আমি চুপচাপ থাকতে পছন্দ করি। যাইহোক, আমাদের মাঝে কখনো কোন বিবাদ হয়নি। আমরা সবসময়ই একে অপরের সঙ্গ উপভোগ করার উপায় বের করি।
