A trade fair is an event where many companies come together to show and sell their products for a short time. Two months ago, I accompanied my father to an international trade exhibition.. It was held at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar and continued for one month. When we reached the fair, I was surprised to see a huge crowd. There was a long line to get inside. We were at the expo for approximately an hour. Inside, there were many pavilions, all decorated beautifully with colorful lights and designs. I really liked how everything looked. People were busy buying, selling, looking at different products, and walking from one stall to another. Some pavilions had big and attractive shops to catch the attention of buyers. I saw some rare items that are not usually found in local markets. I bought a mobile phone from there. After visiting all the stalls, my father and I went to a fast-food shop and enjoyed some tasty food. This type of fair is crucial for our nation. It helps local businesses show their products and attract foreign buyers. It also gives the world a good idea about Bangladeshi products and supports our economic growth.

বঙ্গানুবাদ: আমার একটি বাণিজ্য মেলা পরিদর্শন বাণিজ্য মেলা হলো এমন একটি ঘটনা যেখানে নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্য বহু প্রতিষ্ঠান তাদের পণ্য প্রদর্শন ও বিক্রয়ের জন্য একত্রিত হয়। মেলাটি জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ চেহারা ধারণ করে এবং দর্শনার্থীদের মোহিত করে। আমি দু’মাস আগে আমার বাবার সাথে বাণিজ্য মেলায় গিয়েছিলাম। এই আন্তর্জাতিক বাণিজ্য মেলাটি শের-ই-বাংলা নগরে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল এবং এটি এক মাস যাবত স্থায়ী হয়েছিল। মেলা প্রাঙ্গণে পৌঁছানোর পর লোকদের ভিড় দেখে আমি সত্যিই খুব অবাক হয়েছিলাম। বিপুল সংখ্যক লোক সারিবদ্ধ হয়ে মেলায় প্রবেশ করার চেষ্টা করছিল। আমরা প্রায় এক ঘন্টা মেলায় ছিলাম। মেলার ভেতর, আমি শত শত প্যাভেলিয়ন দেখেছিলাম যেগুলো চমৎকারভাবে তৈরি করা হয়েছিল। সেগুলোকে রঙিন ও সুন্দর করে সাজানো হয়েছিল। আমি মনোরম দৃশ্য দেখে মুগ্ধ হয়েছিলাম। লোকজন জিনিসপত্র দরদাম করতে, কিনতে ও দেখতে ব্যস্ত ছিল এবং এক প্যাভিলিয়ন থেকে অন্য প্যাভিলিয়নে ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছিল। ক্রেতাদের আকর্ষণ করার জন্য কিছু প্যাভিলিয়নের সামনে অস্থায়ী আকর্ষণীয় সুপারস্টোর তৈরি করা হয়েছিল। সেখানে আমি কিছু জিনিস খুঁজে পেলাম যেগুলো মেলায় খুবই অপ্রতুল ছিল। আমি সেখান থেকে একটি মোবাইল সেট কিনলাম। প্রায় সবগুলো প্যাভিলিয়ন ঘোরার পর আমার বাবা আমাকে একটি ফাস্টফুডের দোকানে নিয়ে গেলেন। সেখানে আমরা কিছু সুস্বাদু খাবার খেলাম। যেহেতু বাণিজ্য মেলায় অনেক দেশীয় পণ্য প্রদর্শিত এবং বিক্রিত হয়, তাই বাংলাদেশের অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নে মেলা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। সেসব পণ্য বিদেশী ব্যবসায়ী ও আমাদের দেশের প্রস্তুতকারকদের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করে। এটি আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারকে আমাদের দেশের পণ্য সম্পর্কে ধারণা দিতেও সহায়তা করে।
