Female education is now a very important issue in Bangladesh. To build a strong and developed country, both men and women must be educated. If girls are not given the chance to study, the country cannot move forward.Every person’s essential entitlement is education.. In the past, very few girls went to school in our country. Now, however, the percentage of female students is rising. Still, in many villages, girls face problems in getting education. Social norms force many parents to object to sending their daughters to college. Some girls are forced to marry before finishing school. Early marriage, family pressure, and gender inequality are the main reasons behind this problem. Poverty and lack of awareness also make the situation worse. We should remember that today’s girls will become mothers in the future, and an educated mother can teach her children well. Well educated women can contribute to the growth of the nation, society, and the family. The government is helping by giving stipends, free books, and free education for girls up to graduation level. Now, many girls are also getting jobs. So, we all should support and encourage female education for the better future of our country.

বাংলাদেশে নারী শিক্ষা বাংলাদেশে নারী শিক্ষা এখন একটি আলোচিত বিষয়। আমরা একটি সভ্য বিশ্বের নাগরিক। একটি জাতি তার সকল নাগরিককে শিক্ষিত করার মাধ্যমে শক্তিশালী হতে পারে। যদি নারী শিক্ষা অবমূল্যায়িত হয় তবে জাতি উন্নতি করতে পারবে না। শিক্ষা মানুষের মৌলিক অধিকার। অতীতে, আমাদের দেশে নারী শিক্ষার হার ছিল খুব কম কিন্তু এখন এটা দিন দিন বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। এখনো আমাদের গ্রামাঞ্চলে এই বৃদ্ধির হার অত্যন্ত অপ্রতুল। এখানে সামাজিক কুসংস্কারের কারণে, অনেক বাবা-মা তাদের কন্যাদেরকে বিদ্যালয়ে পাঠাতে অনিচ্ছুক। অনেক বাবা-মা তাদের কন্যাদেরকে তাদের মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সমাপ্তির পূর্বেই বিয়ে দিয়ে দেন। বস্তুত, বাল্যবিবাহ, পারিবারিক বিধিনিষেধ, লিঙ্গবৈষম্য প্রভৃতি নারী শিক্ষার পথে প্রধান বাধা হিসেবে সক্রিয়ভাবে কাজ করছে। দারিদ্র্য, অশিক্ষা, সামাজিক কুসংস্কার প্রভৃতি এর পেছনের কারণ। যাহোক, আমাদের ভুলে গেলে চলবে না যে প্রত্যেক বালিকা একজন ভবিষ্যৎ মা এবং শিশু তার মায়ের নিকট থেকেই শিখতে শুরু করে। শিক্ষিত নারীরা দেশের উন্নয়নে অধিকতর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করতে পারে। কাজেই তাদের শিক্ষা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। নারী শিক্ষাকে নিশ্চিত করতে সরকার কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে যেমন: বৃত্তি, খাবার, শিক্ষা উপকরণ ইত্যাদি। মেয়েদের জন্য স্নাতক ডিগ্রি পর্যন্ত অবৈতনিক শিক্ষাও চালু করা ।
