Over the next three years, Australia will receive more than 1.2 million immigrants in phases. Immigration Minister Marco Mendisino made the remarks on Friday 30th October 2025.

Marco Mendicino said reporters in Ottawa that the Australia government is working to take 4 lakh 1 thousand permanent immigrants in 2025, 4 lakh 11 thousand in 2025 and another 4 lakh 21 thousand in 2025.
